A Farewell To Vanna

Where We Are Now, The Sun Sets Here for Vanna

For over a decade, Boston’s Vanna have been creating aggressive music for us to sing along and swing our fists to. Vanna has helped me get through some tough times and made others great. They will remain a part of my life through their music that I will continue to listen to even after they’ve closed the curtains.

Make Them Suffer Release New Music Video “Fireworks”

Make Them Suffer are truly incredible songwriters and “Fireworks” proves that point. The song, off the band’s new record Worlds Apart which comes out July 28 on Rise Records, masterfully blends heavy vocals and eerie guitars with beautiful melodies. This leads to a sense of calm and acceptance while at the same time revealing a type of suffering.

REVIEW: Motionless In White Take Things Up A Notch With ‘Graveyard Shift’

Motionless In White are back yet again with their new release, Graveyard Shift.  This band has always had a knack for genre transition, and Graveyard Shift is no exception.  They stay on the industrial path they’ve been going down with tracks like “Queen For Queen” and “Necessary Evil,” the latter of which features Jonathan Davis, frontman of Nu-Metal juggernaut, Korn.  MIW also introduce a more punk-inspired vibe on their single, Loud(Fuck It).”  Most refreshing to hear is that they’re not afraid to still get heavy, which is obviously apparent on the ironically titled, “Soft.”

INTERVIEW: She Must Burn foray into fantasy with new record ‘Grimoire’

She Must Burn started gaining international attention after their self-titled EP was released in 2015. Since then they’ve gotten to do things that even long established bands would kill to do. They’ve shared the stage with the legendary bands Cradle of Filth, Carnifex, Fallujah and more. The UK band very recently released their debut full-length, Grimoire, and by the sound of the record and what bassist Frank Korsair has to say, it’s clear they are ready to dominate.
