VIDEO PREMIERE: Vesta Collide “I Can’t Sleep”

Vesta Collide‘s new record, New Obsession, is one that metalcore fans (we included) are absolutely enamored with. The band just premiered a music video for the third track on the record, “I Can’t Sleep.” You can check out the brand new music video, along with a brief explanation of it by the band, right here!

Why did you choose to do a music video for “I Can’t Sleep”?

We chose to do a video for “I Can’t Sleep” because we feel it’s a very strong song and a good representation of what to expect from New Obsession.

What do you hope fans get out of the song?

We hope that fans can relate to the song in someway, as it is lyrically universal. It’s dark and something everyone can relate to at some point in their lives because there is always a point where you don’t feel good enough or want something that you can’t have.

What’s the most meaningful lyric in this song (to you) and why?

The most meaningful lyric from “I Can’t Sleep” to me is a very simple line that asks, “Am I dead to you?” Because sometimes you just feel like a ghost to the ones that mean everything to you.

VIDEO PREMIERE: Hollow Bones “I Watched the Snow Fall and Bury Your Bones”

From their record Lionheart comes Hollow Bones‘s music video for the track “I Watched the Snow Fall and Bury Your Bones.” The New York melodic hardcore band use stark silhouettes overlayed with a snowy forest for this atmospheric song. In a track-by-track of the record that the band did with us, the members revealed that not only is it one of their absolute favorite tracks on the record, but the title also comes from the extremely popular Game Of Thrones.

In Loving Memory Cover “Closer” by The Chainsmokers

The pop hit “Closer” by The Chainsmokers (ft. Halsey) has taken over the nation and even inspired a series of memes because of how viral it’s gone. New York rock band In Loving Memory just put a heavy spin on the song and it’s just as if not more addicting than the original. Check out the music video for the song below and give the rest of In Loving Memory’s discography a listen!

VIDEO PREMIERE: Cruel Hand “Decompose”

Set to release their new record Your World Won’t Listen on September 9th via Hopeless Records, Cruel Hand have debuted a new music video for their new single off the record, “Decompose.” It’s heavy, it’s punky, and it’s catchy as hell. If you don’t pick up this record when it comes out, you’re missing out on a hell of a good time.

VIDEO PREMIERE: Something You Whisper “Scream My Name”

Something You Whisper have premiered a music video for their new track “Scream My Name” which will be on the upcoming deluxe edition of the Beautiful Sins EP, out July 15th. This live performance video takes place in one of those awesome venues where there’s graffiti covering just about every square inch of the walls, which gives an awesome visual backdrop. You can get the new single here.

VIDEO PREMIERE: Capsize “Tear Me Apart” ft. Brendan Murphy of Counterparts

Based on the tracks that Capsize have released from their upcoming album so far, A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me looks like it’s set to be one of the best releases of 2016. Their latest track, “Tear Me Apart,” features Brendan Murphy from Counterparts and comes with an accompanying, black and white performance video that takes place in a kind of glowing nowhere. It features more clean vocals and more melody than even their last single, “I Think It’s Best We Don’t Talk Anymore.” Don’t worry, though, it still keeps the heaviness and it’s as real as ever. Watch the video below and see what frontman Daniel Wand had to say about the new song here.

Every Time I Die Stream First Single Off New Record ‘Low Teens’: “The Coin Has A Say”

Every Time I Die have released a grainy, lo-fi music video to go with their new single “The Coin Has A Say” and premiered it through…Rolling Stone? Looks like the infamous outlet has been digging a little deeper into the heavier realm lately, so good for them. As far as the song goes, it’s a solid, quick ETID banger that carries a lot of the same sound from their previous record, From Parts Unknown. The upcoming album, Low Teens, is now available for pre-order and has an official release date of September 23rd.

VIDEO PREMIERE: Gatherers “A Recluse (On 8mm Film)”

Gatherers have premiered the music video for the ninth track on their album Quiet World, “A Recluse (On 8mm Film).” It’s a simple, straightforward video, kind of like the old home movies your parents used to shoot. Just the band and shades of black and red while the song reminisces about times long past. And emotions. Always emotions.
